Robert Harold (Bob) Briggs, 62, of 193 Bridges Farm Road passed away on Monday, May 8, 2006, at his residence.

Born in Schenectady, N.Y., he was the son of Ralph Briggs and Dorothy Slocum Briggs of Easton, N.Y. He was the husband of Cheryl McQuaid Briggs.

Mr. Briggs was a graduate of Syracuse University and was employed by CGD Developers. He was of the Methodist Faith.

In addition to his wife, surviving are a son, Dean Briggs and wife, Nicole, of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Bonnie Briggs of Gaffney; and a brother, Allan Briggs and wife, Emily, of Gaffney.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Thursday at Blakely Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Crystal Champion officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
