George C. Moore Formerly employed by Custom Trucking
George Calvin Moore, 66, of Berkeley Apartments, died Monday, May 8, 2006, in U p s t a t e C a r o l i n a M e d i c a l Center.
A native of Canton, N.C., he was the son of the late James Macney Moore and the late Faye Florence Flowers McCarson. He was formerly employed by Custom Trucking of Charlotte and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are four sisters, Elizabeth Cantrell of Honea Path, Molly "Jean" Waddell of Spartanburg, Louise Davis of Shelby and Rebecca Gibson of Pacolet; two brothers, Charles Moore of Cowpens and Billy Clifford McCarson of Forest City.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his stepfather, Odell McCarson; a brother, Donald I. McCarson; and maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Flowers.
No services are planned.
The family is at the home of his sister, Jean Waddell, 2797 Cannon's Campground Road, Spartanburg.
