The Antioch Volunteer Fire Department is raising money to buy equipment.

Chief Glenn Gregory said Gary Johnson will be contacting fire district residents at their homes about a family portrait drive that began last week.

The photographs will be free, but firefighters will be taking donations while at the day's events. Activities for children during the day of the event will include tours of the fire trucks.

Johnson will be wearing an Antioch Volunteer Fire Department T-shirt and will be driving a 2000 silver Ford Taurus, with North Carolina license plate RVB 6238.

If residents have any further questions, they can call Gregory at 864-491-6091.
