Maternal grandparents are Frances and Dennis Mickles of Gaffney, Julia Dowdle, Harvana Mickles and the late Edward Dowdle. Paternal grandparents are Thomas Tate, Barbara Gregory of Gaffney and the late Mary Gregory.

Godparents are Carolyn and Cedric Dowdle, April Littlejohn and Sherman Tate.
