Classical guitarist at library

CARL BERGER Classical guitarist Carl Berger will present a "Music Sandwiched In" concert on Tuesday May 30, from 12:15-1 p.m. at the Cherokee County Public library in Gaffney.

A native of Hampton, Va., Berger is currently studying at the Manhattan School of Music with David Starobin. He has performed in master classes with David Leisner, Mark Delpriora, Benjamin Verdery, Nicholas Golusas, etc. and has performed in libraries across Virginia. He has also interned at Lincoln Center.

Berger's concert will feature 19th century music by Italian composer Mauro Giuliani and 20th century music by Mexican composer Manuel Ponce.
