Sex offender added to list

DARRIUS LANDRUM A man classified by police as

sexual predator has been added to the Cherokee County Most Wanted list after he failed to register as a sex offender.

Darrius Landrum, 34, told Spartanburg County authorities he was planning to move to Cherokee County but never registered with the sheriff's office here as required by law. The date of his last sex offender registration was Jan. 23, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Sex Offender Registry Web site.

Landrum has two prior convictions for 2nd-offense criminal sexual conduct in 1992 and 1998. One of those victims was listed on the SLED Sex Offender Registry Web site as a 42-year-old woman.

Landrum is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 235 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and medium skin tone.
