Geraldine Sarratt Davis, 91, formerly of 1020 N. Granard St., passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006, at Magnolias of Gaffney.

A native of Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Edward Sarratt and Sarah Huskey Sarratt and widow of Roy Dean Davis Sr. She was a homemaker and member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a son, Roy Davis Jr. and wife, Julie, of Gastonia,; three sisters, Alice Hendricks of Chesterfield, Delia Frances Pendry and Sarah Shigley, both of North Wilksboro, N.C.; two grandchildren, Kimberly Freeman of Belmont, N.C., and the Rev. Scott Davis of Concord, N.C.; and two great-grandchildren, Malinda Davis and Bryan Davis, both of Concord.

Cryptside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, conducted by Dr. Clyde Thomas. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
