Sarah Alexis Williams and Daniel Walkup Rowe COLUMBIA - Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Williams announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Alexis, to Daniel Walkup Rowe of Greenwood, son of Dr. and Mrs. David L. Rowe of Blacksburg.

Miss Williams is the granddaughter of Frances I. Greer of Union and Norlene B. Williams of Elgin, the late Walter Bailey Greer and the late Robert Williams. She graduated from Lander University with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and is employed by Richland Two School District.

Mr. Rowe is the grandson of Sam W. Robinson of Lancaster, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Rowe of Kenly, N.C., and the late Vivian M. Robinson. He graduated from Lander University with a B.S. degree in Math Education and is employed by the Greenwood County Schools.

A July 1 wedding is planned at Spring Valley Baptist Church in Columbia.
