A local blood drive to help replenish blood supply from Sybil Caggiano's surgery and also Alvis Humphries' open heart surgery will be held Wednesday, June 14, from 6-9 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 216 Macedonia Road. Needed are rare blood types O D-Negative and C-Positive. If you have these blood types, you are urged to come give.

Support groups

AA meetings are held at 8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the building behind Limestone Methodist Church on Carlisle Street. If you have a problem with alcohol, you are welcome to attend.
