Estelle M. Spencer

Member of Corinth Baptist

Estelle Maynor Spencer, 93, formerly of 502 N. 6th Street, Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Peachtree Centre.

A native of Gaffney, she was the widow of the late James Roland Spencer and the daughter of the late Bedford Maynor and Nannie Sanders Maynor. She was retired from M. Lowenstein and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Betty Rice and husband, Dean of Gaffney; two brothers, Arthur Maynor and R.M. Maynor of Gaffney, and one grandson, Tim Rice of Arlington, Texas.

Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Maynor, Tom Maynor and Earl Maynor, all of Gaffney and three sisters, Lois Maynor Spencer, Florence Maynor Porter and Floree Maynor Sellars Lester, all of Gaffney.

The family wishes to extend its gratitude and all acts of kindness to St. Luke's Rehabilitation of Tryon and Peachtree Centre.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dwight Easler officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at 139 Conventry Court.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wayne Porter, F.M. Gamble, Bobby Sellars, Larry Maynor, Chester Spencer, Olin Phillips and Lynn Laughlin.

The family is at 139 Coventry Court.
