BLACKSBURG - Baby Corneleous James Byers of 206 E. Clairborne St., died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at 1:27 a.m. in Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

A native of Spartanburg, he was the infant son of Tekra Shunta McCluney of the home and James Henry ("Poochie") Byers Jr. of Gaffney.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Nautica Byers of the home; grandmothers, Mary Woods and Kathy Littlejohn Byers of Gaffney; and grandfathers, Rev. Richard Woods and James Henry Byers Sr. of Gaffney.

The family is at the home of his grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Richard Wood, 550 Boiling Springs Hwy., Gaffney.
