Dan Queen
INMAN - Daniel Irvin Queen, 37, of 1 Eastridge Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center - Gibbs Cancer Center, after a twoyear battle with leukemia.
A native of Gaffney, he was the husband of Lisa Snyder Queen and son of Grady Terry Queen Sr. and Janet Queen of Gaffney. He was employed with his father in the family business of Queen Janitorial Services in Gaffney. He was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg. He was a loving dad and a Godly husband to his children and wife.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are a son and daughter, Noah Queen and Summer Queen, of the home and a brother, Terry Queen Jr., of Gaffney.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist North Spartanburg. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., immediately following visitation, at the church, conducted by Dr. Michael S. Hamlet. Interment will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Christian Academy, Noah and Summer Queen Scholarship Fund, 8740 Asheville Hwy., Spartanburg, S.C. 29316.
Family members are at their respective homes.
