DEMO PARTY BREAKFAST

The Cherokee County Democratic Party met at Ryan's on Saturday, Sept. 30, for a Democratic breakfast. The event was well attended and there were several Democratic speakers. Candidates speaking were Roy Price for County Auditor, James Batchler for County Council District 7, Charles Mathis for County Council District 5, Rick Burgess for Sheriff, Representative Olin R. Phillips, House District 30, Dennis Moss House District 29, and Lindley Auton, Cherokee County School Board. There will be a free hot dog supper on Monday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. at Thomson Park supporting Congressman John Spratt for U. S. House District 5. Everyone is invited to attend.
