CHILDREN'S HOME VOLUNTEERS

A number of Limestone College students spend time at the Cherokee Children's Home, where they assist the staff by helping with homework as part of the tutoring program, going on activities with the children and participating in organized play. "We are fortunate to have these students assist us in working with the children," said Judy Nix, director of Development for the home. "They bring a youthful energy to our program." Limestone students who participate in the college's work/study program are (top photo, front) Monique Grant; (second row) Cammy Scantling, Ashley Wilson, Luis Alvarado and Aisha Alvarado and (right photo) Michelle Cash and Tanesha Brown.
