Animated Program,

Jakers! follows

the adventures of Piggley Winks, a spunky 8-year-old pig, and his friends on the Raloo

Farm in 1950's Ireland.

Each story features Piggley Winks as a granddad, telling tales of childhood shenanigans,

as well as entertaining life

lessons to his three very contemporary, rambunctious city-dwelling grandpigs. Each episode also features two live-action segments - "Piggley's Storyteller Playhouse," where professional storytellers demonstrate how specific elements, such as mood, are the keys to telling a good story, and "Meet the Grandparents," which speaks to the diversity and importance of learning from our elders.
