Holiday decorating is focus of workshop at Rose Hill Plantation UNION - A workshop on Victorian Christmas decorations will be held at Rose Hill Plantation State Historic Site from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18. Visitors will be able to make period decorations for their own homes and help decorate the antebellum plantation mansion for the upcoming holiday season and open house. There also will be open-hearth cooking demonstrations and a discussion of holiday recipes such as plum pudding. Space is limited so call the park at (864) 427-5966 or e-mail rosehill@scprt.com to register by Thursday, Nov. 16. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 6 to 16.
