Schools plan Education Week events Nov. 12-18

The Cherokee County School District will observe American Education Week on Nov. 12-18. The theme is "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility."

Visitors will be expected between 8:30-11:30 a.m. The visitation schedule includes:

Monday: Grassy Pond Elementary, Granard Middle, Northwest Elementary and Luther Vaughan Elementary.

Tuesday: Mary Bramlett Elementary, B.D. Lee Elementary, Alma Elementary, Cherokee Technology Center

Wednesday: Gaffney High, Limestone-Central Elementary, Goucher Elementary.

Thursday: Corinth Elementary, Draytonville Elementary, Ewing Middle, Gaffney Middle, Community Learning Center/Adult Education.

Friday: Blacksburg Elementary, Blacksburg High, Blacksburg Middle, Blacksburg Primary.
