That answer will likely not be known until next week.
The Cherokee County Election Commission and other county election commissions throughout the state met Friday to certify the results of last Tuesday's election. After the votes were certified, Democrat Dennis Moss was still in front of Republican Danny Stacy by 69 votes.
Moss led 4,591-4,525 before Friday's certification.
Moss picked up four votes in York County, while Stacy gained one vote in Chester County.
There was no change in the vote totals from Cherokee County, where the latest data showed Moss with 2,257 votes and Stacy with 1,920 votes.
The state election commission will meet Wednesday for its certification process. At that time, it's expected to order a recount of the House 29 race.
The state requires a recount when there is a 1 percent or less margin of victory.
Stacy has claimed he trails Moss by just .007 percent.
Moss said he'll be declared the official winner.
"I'm confident the results will hold up and I'll be the winner," Moss said.
The state Election Commission is also expected to
order a recount for the lieutenant governor and state superintendent of education races.
Republican Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer led Democrat Robert Barber by 3,085 votes after Tuesday. State Superintendent of Education Republican nominee Karen Floyd trailed Democrat nominee Jim Rex by only 507 votes after Friday's statewide certification process.
