Congratulations to GHS band for Florida performance

Dear Editor:

I along with the band booster club would like to congratulate the Gaffney High School Band of Gold for a sterling performance in Florida. Not only did they win their class, they took

the overall grand champion award.

The citizens of Gaffney can be proud of the way they represented themselves and the way they represented their school. You should tell them how proud you are of them when you meet a band member.

I would also like to thank those parents who took the time off to go as chaperones, and make the trip memorable for the band members. It will be something they will always remember. Again congratulations on a job well done. We are very proud of you. Keep up the good direction Mr. Kuntz. Sincerely yours,
