No garbage pickup during Thanksgiving holiday period

The Cherokee County Solid Waste Collection Department & the Cherokee County Recycling Center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24, in observance of Thanksgiving.

The department will pick up all extra items on Thursday, Nov. 30, and Friday, Dec. 1.

The receiving bay at the Recycling Center will be open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, for anyone wishing to drop off recyclable materials.
