Eugene Jackson (Jack) Stewart, 80, of 203 Brookwood Drive, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, at his residence.

Born in Blacksburg, he was the husband of Omagene Spencer Stewart and the son of the late Vada McSwain Stewart. He was retired from The Timken Company and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Stewart was a Mason and member of Buffalo Lodge 202.

Also surviving are two sisters, Virginia Parker of Gaffney and Elizabeth Pennington of Blacksburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by two brothers, Basil Stewart and Melvin Stewart.

Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens with thw Rev. Clint Phillips officiating. Masonic rites will be performed after the graveside service. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
