Limestone hosts holiday event Dec. 9

Limestone College will host its annual Christmas on Campus, a night of holiday festivities that includes a concert, the traditional lighting of the luminaries and the college Christmas tree, and a visit from Santa, on Saturday, Dec. 9.

The "Sounds of the Season" concert begins 6:30 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium and is a unique and festive montage of choral music performed by the Cherokee County Honors Choir,

the Limestone College Children's Chorus and the Limestone College and Community Chorus.

Luminaries will be lit along College Drive and on the college's front campus and the lighting of the Christmas tree will take place at 7:50 p.m. Santa has promised Limestone officials that he'll drop in on the festivities at 7:55 p.m.

Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to participate.
