SHARON - Nancy Wells Thomson, 80, of 2367 Thomson Quarter Road, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Wallace Thomson Hospital, Union.

A native of Sharon, she was born in Spindale, N.C., and was a daughter of the late William Russell Wells and the late Clara Logan Wells. She was the widow of William Park Thomson, a member of Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Limestone College.

Surviving are a son, William "Rusty" Thomson of Sharon; a daughter, Harriet Farish of Gaffney; a sister, Dorothy Wells of High Point, N.C.; her four loving grandchildren, William Rus Thomson, Benjamin Wells Thomson, Jessica Elizabeth Farish and Christopher Farish.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Ned Worstall. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
