Tuesday Woman’s Club enjoys program of Christmas music

The Tuesday Woman’s Club met Dec. 12 at the home of Mrs. Bill Peeler. Co-hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. Charles Stroup and Mrs. Gene Moorhead. Members continued their Christmas tradition of donating loaves of bread for Meals on Wheels and toys for Salvation Army.

The program, “Christmas Magic,” was presented Don Bates, minister of music at First Baptist Church of Gaffney. He delighted the members by relating humorous anecdotes experienced during his ministry. He concluded the program by emphasizing what a wonderful time of year it is to share not only Christmas Magic, but also the love of Jesus.

After the program, members enjoyed delicious refreshments served by the hostesses.
