Santa and Mrs. Claus (Earl Hess and his wife, Mary Nell) delivered more than meals at Christmas - they handed out candy canes, hugs and good cheer to Blacksburg recipients and everyone with whom they came in contact. While in Blacksburg, Mr. and Mrs. Claus stopped at a convenience store where they were given a $100 bill by an anonymous donor who said, "What a great job Meals on Wheels does and how wonderful the volunteers are. Keep up the good work." Members of the Beta Club who helped our and loaded Santa's sleigh were Mathew LeCroy, Michael Wood and Nicholas Parker.
