ENGAGEMENT

William Lawrence Turner and Katherine Elaine Parris Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Parris of Gaffney announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Elaine, to William Lawrence Turner of Spartanburg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Turner of Boiling Springs.

Miss Parris is the granddaughter of Mary Parris, Mr. and Mrs. D.S. Edmonds, all of Gaffney, and the late Webb Parris. A graduate of Heritage Christian School, she received a B.S. degree cum laude in accounting from Bob Jones University and is employed as a senior accountant with Extended Stay America.

Mr. Turner is the grandson of Greta Fain Turner of Spartanburg and the late Willie Alfred Turner Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence George Tate of Pacolet. He graduated from Boiling Springs High School and received a B.A. degree cum laude in accounting from Furman University. He is employed as a manager in the franchise and lease department for Denny's Inc.

Miss Parris and Mr. Turner will be married on July 7 at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church.
