Franklin (Buddy) Golden

Franklin Delano Golden, 71, of 253 Beltline Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 15, 2007. at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

White Golden and son of the late

James Richard

Golden and Bonnie Rose Cole Golden. Mr. Golden was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired farmer and a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, surviving are two sons, Jackie Golden and Ricky Golden, both of Gaffney; four daughters, Cindy Wyatt and husband, Bobby, of Campobello, Janice Ramos and husband, Santos, Vicky Caldwell and husband, Don, and Kim Howard and husband, Butch, all of Gaffney; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Revs. Ronnie Cox and Lewis Batchelor. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 822 Providence Road, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
