Lady Saints top Coker
Shelly Robinson is a big reason why the Limestone women's basketball team has gone from average to a whole lot better the last few games.
Robinson set another personal best with 14 points as the Lady Saints beat Coker, 69-56, on Monday.
"Since Shelly Robinson has been playing well, we've been playing well," Limestone coach Corey Fox said.
Robinson has averaged in double figures as the Lady Saints have won three of their last four games.
The Lady Saints jumped to a 15 point lead in the first half before Coker pulled within eight at the half.
The Lady Cobras closed within 39-36 in the first half before Limestone went on a 6- 0 spurt to reassert command.
Blanca Gonzalez and Lindsay Kyle each had 14 points for the Lady Saints, who improve to 4-3 in conference play.
Coker drops to 1-6 in the conference.
Addie Graves had 12 points and Ariel Lyons added 10 for the Lady Saints, who shot 43 percent in the second half.
