WHAT'S UP Concerts ¦ Christian singer, songwriter and comedian, Mark Lowry will bring his God Is Still Crazy About You tour to Taylors First Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. Joining Lowry on stage will be master pianist Stan Whitmire and talented trio Lordsong. All seats are general admission. Classes ¦ A calligraphy class will be held at the Gaffney Senor Center on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 10-11 a.m. Cost of the class will be $5. Church events ¦ Way of Life Praise and Worship Center, 1320 Old Georgia Hwy., will have a new service schedule beginning Sunday, Feb. 4. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11. Bible Study will be on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ¦ Indian Hill Baptist Church will have Community Youth Activities for children and youths ages 5-14 on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. The program will consist of developing Biblical knowledge, participating in structural thinking games and working on life skills activities such as cooking or aerobics. Community Youth Activities will continue throughout the year. ¦ The Women's Ministry of Suck Creek Baptist Church will sponsor a Women's Rap Session on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. at the church. There will be a panel for discussion, questions and answers on the topic, "Being Single and Saved, or Being Married and Saved." There will also be a youth session held concurrently with the Rev. Meika Jones in charge for ages 13-18. Rev. Lincoln, Minister of Women's Ministry at the church, is challenging all women and the youths to come and be a part of these sessions and activities. ¦ Suck Creek Baptist Church, 210 Daniel Morgan School Road, will have a dinner at the Life Center on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 1:30 p.m. The menu will include pork chops, meat loaf, pinto beans, cole slaw, fried okra, turnip greens, cornbread, banana pudding, tea or water. The dinner is sponsored by the Usher's Ministry and will be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
