The Cherokee County Public Library and the Limestone College athletic program as cosponsoring a reading contest for all ages.

From Feb. 8 through March 31, participants can "Team Up to Read" with a person of their choice by completing a registration form at the main library in Gaffney or at the library in Blacksburg.

Two-member teams will be able to earn entries for prize drawings by reading together and by attending spring sports events at Limestone College.

A special registration event for the contest will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Gaffney library. Players and coaches from the Limestone College men's lacrosse team will be on hand to give demonstrations and present information on spring sports events.

There will be refreshments and door prizes. For contest details or other information, call the library at 487-2711.
