Shirley Price Ramsey, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at her residence.

A native of Gaffney, she was the wife of George Lewis Ramsey and daughter of Myrtle Huskey Price and the late James Woodrow Price. She was formerly employed by Sunny Slope Farms and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a son, G. Louis Ramsey Jr. of Gaffney; a daughter, Sharon Ramsey Plocharczyk and husband, Paul, of Charlotte; a sister, Linda K. Price of Gaffney; and two grandchildren, Amanda Threadgill of Charlotte and Aaron Plocharczyk, also of Charlotte.

Arrangements will be announced by Blakely Funeral Home.
