THURSDAY WRECK

A Gaffney woman was treated and released from Upstate Carolina Medical Center following a 3 p.m. wreck Thursday at West Rutledge Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Pamela Marshall, 52, of 328 Starr Ridge Road, Gaffney, was driving a 1994 Oldsmobile on West Rutledge Street when she disregarded the stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a 2002 Toyota SUV driven by Phil Ray Lecroy, 49, of 138 Phillips Lane, Gaffney, according to a report at the Gaffney Police Department. Lecroy was not injured in the accident. Both vehicles were traveling the posted 30 mph speed limit, police said.
