Luisa Burlon Earls
Luisa Burlon Earls, 80, of 902 N. Logan St.t, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
Born in Moena, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo Burlon and Teresina Gubert Burlon and widow of Howard Earls. Mrs. Earls was retired from Celanese Corporation and was owner/operator of Earls Grocery. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Johnny Earls and wife, Brenda, of Gaffney; a daughter, Patricia Duffie of Wellford; a sister, Annamaria Mazzochi of Bologna, Italy; five grandchildren, John Earls Jr. of Spartanburg, Donna Elder and husband, Donald, of Myrtle Beach, Tina Anderson and husband, Rick of Atlanta, Ga., Melissa Duffie and Charlie Duffie Jr., both of Spartanburg; and two greatgrandchildren, Ashley Anderson and Jessica Anderson.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Earls was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Earls.
A Rosary will be held today from 6-7 at Blakely Funeral Home. Visitation will follow from 7-8 p.m. at the Funeral home.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, conducted by Father Francisco Cruz. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.

The family will be at 1045 Old Post Road, Gaffney.
