Rochelle C. Jefferies, 86, of 107 Camellia Circle, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at 3 a.m. at his home.

A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Daniel Jefferies and the late Blanche Montgomery Jefferies. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from Limestone Manufacturing Co.

Surviving are a son, Ronnie Dean Jefferies of the home; three sisters, Carrie Jefferies, Emma Houston and Louise Wilson, all of Gaffney; a brother, L.V. Jefferies of Bridgeton, N.J.; Elizabeth Jefferies who was reared in the home; two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
