Mayor: We're coming after you Blacksburg Mayor David Hogue wants his town to have a vision for the future. "I really had a time deciding if I was going to run again, but I'm glad I did. I look forward to working with you," he said Tuesday during the town council's regular monthly meeting. "I want this town to be a better place to live in." Hogue's vision includes some spring cleaning, which will not only entail targeting junk cars and junk lots, but also the drug dealers who are rapidly setting up shop in the community. "We're coming after you," Hogue warned the drug dealers. "You better watch out and you better not be out on the streets selling illegal drugs. They're moving here from other places, and we're going to clean it up. We're coming after you." Hogue was re-elected to his fifth term as mayor on March 6. |
