Rodney Love, who was named to the allregion team and played in the Spartanburg Tipoff Club all-star game last weekend, is being recruited by Spartanburg Methodist and USC Salkahatchie, according to Gaffney High coach Mark Huff. Kobe Hollis, who was also selected to the all-region team and played in the all-star game last weekend, is also attracting interest from USC Salkahatchie, Huff said. Both Love and Hollis are forwards. Donald Sims, who played on three consecutive state champion teams from 2003-05, is visiting Charleston Southern this week. Sims, who has played the last two seasons at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia, is also looking at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and Appalachian State, Huff said. The official signing date for prep basketball players is next month. |
