The Gaffney High baseball team played non-region foe T.L. Hanna on Wednesday, but couldn't snap its long losing streak.
The Yellow Jackets scored a couple of runs in the first and blew the game open with five more in the second to post a 12-3 victory at Commissioners Field.
Gaffney starter Bobby Jackson had a rough outing, giving up seven runs in 1 1/3 innings of work.
Dustin Batchler replaced him in the second and went the rest of the way.
Gaffney cut the deficit to 7-1 with a run in the second when Jackson singled, advanced to second on Joe Ben Frye's fielder's choice and scored on Shane Mills' single.
Both teams traded runs in the fourth. T.L. Hanna went up 8-1 in the top of the fourth inning before Batchler scored on Jackson's fielder's choice.
Batchler moved into scoring possession on a passed ball and a pop fly.
T.L. Hanna scored its final four runs in the seventh.
Gaffney also capped its scoring in the seventh when McCrae Norton walked, advanced to second on a walk and scored on a passed ball.
Gaffney, which is 0-4 in the region, returns to region action today at Hillcrest.
