Saints improve to 4-1 with win over Catawba

The Limestone men's lacrosse team spread the scoring around in a 14-8 win over visiting Catawba on Wednesday.

The Saints jumped to an early threefold lead after the first period. Limestone extended its advantage to 8-2 at halftime.

The Indians closed to 9-7 at the end of the third quarter before the Saints regained the momentum in the fourth quarter.

Jay Tranello paced the Saints with three goals, while Colin Bell had two. Bell also had a gaming four assists.

Jake Rogalia, Teddy Prager, Allen Vaughn, Ryan Collins, Brian Patridge, Michael Poerstel, Jason Brammell, Matt Fields and Brock Spilker each chipped in with a goal for the Saints, who improve to 4-1. The Indians fall to 3-3.
