ENGAGEMENTS

Nathan Earl Pressley and Jeanna E. Thompson Dr. and Mrs. David B. Thompson of Gaffney announce the engagement of their daughter, Jeanna Elizabeth, to Nathan Earl Pressley of Blacksburg.

Miss Thompson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mason D. Thompson of Blacksburg and Mr. and Mrs. William B. Painter of Columbus, N.C. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education: Learning Disabilities at Converse College and expects to graduate in May.

Mr. Pressley is the son of Lloyd Pressley Jr. and Janie Pressley of Blacksburg. His grandparents Iceal Gillion Smith of Redbank, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Pressley Sr. of Gilbert and the late James C. Smith. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at University of South Carolina Upstate and expects to graduate in May.

A June 23 wedding is planned at Grassy Pond Baptist Church.
