Historic district residents will meet tonight to form crime watch group
2007-03-19 / Local News
The Central Historic Crime Watch Group will hold an organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at CHAPS in the Old Central School.
The group was founded after local residents noticed an increase in vandalism and more serious crimes in the historic district area surrounding College Drive and Union and Johnson streets.
A representative from the Gaffney Police Department is expected to attend the meeting and give pointers on crime prevention.
Everyone is welcome. For more information, call Bill Poole at 489-5108.
