Park rededication among events scheduled for LC Alumni Reunion Weekend

Among the activities planned for Limestone College's Alumni Reunion Weekend April 20 - 22 is a rededication of the Limestone Springs Park. The park, located off East O'Neal Street Extension, was recently completed, thanks to funds donated by the late John Hamrick in memory of his wife, Mary Hartzog Hamrick, Class of 1936. The rededication service will be held Friday, April 20.

On Saturday, the Limestone Alumni Association will honor Outstanding Alumni for 2007 in Stephenson Dining Hall. The honorees are:

Alumna of the Year, Betty Tate Clark '60; Service to College, Patricia Williams Willis '55; Service to Education, Ruth Hannon Parker '66; Service to Church, Anne Turpin Carroll '61;

Service to Community, Tedi Hoke Gibbons '56;

Young Alumnus of the Year, Gregory Phillip Schilz '02, and;

Honorary Alumnus, Ronald D. Owenby. The Awards Luncheon is at noon and costs $10 per person.

The Limestone College Music Department and Office of Alumni Affairs has invited all music alumni and members of the community to attend and participate in the 2007 Alumni Reunion Weekend Band and Chorus Concert on that afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium.

On Saturday evening, there will be a 50th Reunion at the Hampton Inn in Gaffney and a Cluster Reunion for the classes of '62, '67, '72, '77, and '82 at the home of Professor Emerita Emmie Evans Rector. All other classes are invited to attend the Cluster Reunion.
