Mamie L. Jefferies was honored for her years of service with the Cherokee County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. Jefferies served as a mental retardation specialist for 17 years with the DSN Board. "The agency appreciates her dedication to serve people with disabilities and special needs," said Pearson Cooper, executive director, who presented her an engraved clock for her years of service and the contribution she made to the consumers of the agency.
