Mary Turner Crowe, 61, of 932 Hetty Hill Street, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late John H. Turner, Sr. and Dorothy Juliette Messer Turner and wife of James E. Crowe. She was retired from Nestle and was a member of High Point Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, surviving are two daughters, Ann Crowe Varner and husband, Timothy, of Gaffney and Teresa Pruitt of Gaffney; five brothers, John H. Turner, Jr., William M. Turner, Tommy Turner, Eddie Turner and Nelson Turner, all of Gaffney; two sisters, Donna Willard of Converse, SC and Barbara Jean Boheler of Union, SC; five grandchildren, James Crowe, Jason Crowe, Timothy D. Varner, Brandi Pettit and Lakota Pruitt; and five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ola Turner.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at High Point Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Clifford Phillips and Rev. Frank Bryant. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to High Point Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 504 High Point Road, Gaffney, SC, 29341.

The family will be at the home of Ann Varner, 211 Gardner Road, Gaffney, SC.
