Sarah Cornelia Cobb, 73, of 2935 C o w p e n s - P a c o l e t Highway, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at White Oak M a n o r . Born December 18, 1933, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harley and Maude Burrell Pilkington and the wife of the late A. B. Cobb. She was retired from Mayfair Mill and was a member of Silica Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynne Johnson of Pacolet; three step-sons, Hershel Cobb of Spartanburg, Curtis Cobb and Troy Cobb, both of Gaffney; a granddaughter, Diane Fuller of Pacolet; two grandsons, Mark Parris of Pacolet, and Harley Brackins of Gaffney; a brother, Fait Goode of Cowpens; eight stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Freida Brackins.

Visitation will be 7-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Silica Springs Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lynn Ford and the Rev. Henry Guyton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Lynne Johnson, 2935 Cowpens-Pacolet Highway, Spartanburg.
