Cancer survivors share stories, celebrate life at annual dinner
Mike Doherty was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma on his 37th birthday. Police: Armed robbery was staged

Police said the April Fool's Day armed robbery of Eastside Saveway has turned out to be staged. Four Gaffney residents, including the employee who reported the incident, have been arrested in connection with what police described as a bogus robbery at the convenience store at 302 Wilkinsville Hwy., Gaffney. Employee accused of taking deposits

A former manager of Blimpie's was arrested Monday following an investigation into more than $11,000 in missing bank deposits from the business. Gaffney Police Detective Sgt. Ron Ramsey has charged Shelly Destaffino Hunter, 34, of 206 Lakeshore Drive, Gaffney, with breach of trust with fraudulent intent. More...
