A former manager of Blimpie's was arrested Monday following an investigation into more than $11,000 in missing bank deposits from the business.

Gaffney Police Detective Sgt. Ron Ramsey has charged Shelly Destaffino Hunter, 34, of 206 Lakeshore Drive, Gaffney, with breach of trust with fraudulent intent.

Approximately 35 bank deposits were not made for the business located inside Wal-Mart at 165 Walton Drive, Gaffney, according to an incident report filed at the police department. There were also bank transactions that came up short, police said.

The entire amount that was reported missing between Oct. 15, 2006 and April 3 is $11,238.

The warrant for Hunter's arrest was signed April 18.
