ANNIVERSARIES

Gladys and Dever Solmon Dever and Gladys Wallace Solmon of Blacksburg celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on April 14, 2007.

Mr. and Mrs. Solmon were married in Gaffney in 1962. Their children are Debbie Mullinax and husband, Joe, and Dever Solmon Jr., all of Blacksburg, and the late Tammy Mullinax. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Solmon were honored with a dinner on April 14 at 5 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church Fellowship Building. Seventy family members and friends attended. Hosts were Debbie and Joe Mullinax, Dever Solmon Jr. and Billy and Michelle Anthony.

Pam Peeler served the anniversary cake that was made by daughter, Debbie.
