Two small children were transported to the pediatric unit in Greenville and a Gaffney woman was airlifted to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center on Thursday following a two-vehicle accident at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Overbrook Drive. Assistant Blacksburg Police Chief Al Phillips has charged 35-year-old David Scott Cooper of 122 Brown St. with lewd act on a minor. Cooper was arrested Friday and released at 8:45 p.m. Monday.
