COWPENS - Daisy Rae Morgan Barnette, 3, of 323 Crenshaw Road, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

She was the daughter of Jeremiah Dale and Nicole Hastedt Barnette of the home and was born in Spartanburg.

Daisy looked forward to going to church at Salem United Methodist Church in Cowpens and also loved playing outdoors around her home.

Daisy leaves behind with her mother and father three sisters, Cassidy Nicole, Stephanie Jean and Hailie Eve Barnette, all of the home; maternal grandparents, Lynne Hastedt of Gaffney, Charles Hastedt Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Vale, N.C., and Garland Mullinax of Gaffney; paternal grandparents, Roger and Elizabeth Barnette of Gaffney; maternal greatgrandparents, Geraldine Ray of Gastonia, Evelyn Hastedt and Charles Hastedt Sr., both of Charlotte; and paternal great-grandparents, Edwin and Barbara Dale of Cowpens.

Visitation will be held today at Salem United Methodist Church in Cowpens from 4-5 p.m. with services following at 5 p.m., also in the church, with the Rev. Angelia Price officiating.

The family is at the residence at times other than the services.
