The Cherokee County Republican Party will meet May 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Republican Party Headquarters on Floyd Baker Blvd. This is an important meeting regarding the state convention and other items. Everyone welcome.

Special events

Moses Wood Camp No. 125, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Moses Wood Chapter 469, will join in a celebration of Confederate Memorial Day on May 12 at 10 a.m. at the Confederate Monument, located at the corner of South Limestone and East Buford streets.
